Meet Our Team
Brian Atwater
Brian Atwater was born and raised in Tifton, Georgia, and now resides here with his wife and young daughter. Brian continues to give back to his community through his membership on the Tifton/Tift County Chamber of Commerce, the First United Methodist of Tifton Finance Committee and as a graduate of Leadership Tifton. Atwater is also a member of the Tifton/Tift County Board of Realtors. Brian is an Eagle Scout and continues to work with the scouts by serving on the East District Chehaw Council Eagle Review board.
After receiving his Associates of Arts from Abraham Baldwin College, Brian went on to graduate from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education. After graduation, he enrolled in the Terry College of Business at UGA and earned a concentration in Risk Management. Atwater was an active member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at UGA and a member of the UGA Terry College of Business Insurance Society. Brian also completed classes with the prestigious Society of Certified Insurance Counselors courses.
From 1996-1998, Brian worked at Chastain & Associates Insurance Agency in Athens, Georgia. Upon moving back to Tifton in 1998, Brian opened Atwater Insurance Agency and has been operating that office with a focus on property and casualty insurance for over 10 years. Atwater Insurance Agency has received numerous sales awards, and Brian is embarking on his 13th year in the insurance industry.
Hayden Hancock
Hayden Hancock, a 2001 graduate of Berrien High School, attended Piedmont College in Athens, Georgia. After receiving a BA in Business Administration from Piedmont in December of 2007, Hayden moved back to his hometown of Nashville, Georgia.
Hayden joined Heritage Benefits Group in March 2008.
